Katiane Castro, 32 years old, actress and contortionist, born and raised in Brazil.

At a young age, I discovered my passion for the arts through singing and guitar lessons. However, it was rhythmic gymnastics that I truly unlocked my potential participating in various competitions, I developed discipline, strength, and agility.

The moment came when I landed a role in a TV commercial, sparking an unrelenting passion for performance. This pivotal experience paved the way for my transition into acting and contortionism.

"My big moment arrived in 2013 with the release of 'Diary of an Exorcist,' a book that marked a significant milestone in my career. The film adaptation followed soon after, and I was thrilled to play a pivotal role as an actress.As a theater graduate from Brazil, I had honed my craft on numerous stages, performing in notable plays like 'Bailei na Curva,' 'The Crucible ,' and 'Fiddler on the Roof,' among others. These experiences helped shape my talent and prepared me for the opportunities that lay ahead. However, it was my participation in the 'Hidden Cameras' segment of the promotional campaign for 'The Conjuring 2' that truly catapulted me to fame. This action-packed production, a collaboration between SBT and Warner Bros, was inspired by James Wan's film. The campaign generated immense attention in Brazil and internationally. I've recently graduated from the Ruskin School of Acting in the USA, where I mastered the Sanford Meisner Technique and have the opportunity to be part of amazing projects, short film and commercial. I'm always seeking opportunities to refine my craft and prepare for upcoming projects.”
